Inspired by Berber dances of southern Morocco-incorporating elements of trance dances found throughout the Middle East-this dance conveys the mystical power & vitality of tribal communion. Percussion in North Afri African style & and meter.

The dances of Armenian women, notable for their haunting sweetness and poetic grace, often depict elements in nature. This lyrical dance, derived from a traditional maiden's dance, is characterized by a skimming, effortless quality and expressive use of the hands, arms and upper body.

Upper Egypt's earthy Saiidi rhythm sparked the imagery for this folkloric trio, an amalgam of Egyptian and North African women's dance movements & costuming.

This dance is inspired by the devotional poetry of Medea's grandmother, Ashrav Meshkoti and their Journey together to the holy city ot Mashhad ..
Tonight, my host is the King of both worlds . ..
He calls me to his gathering . ... If I am a stranger today, in this town,
It matters not because I will honor the King of all strangers.
Happy, singing and dancing . .. I am walking towards the light of belief.
